Mindset is the precursor for understanding and will (choice). We develop this aspect with knowledge, skill, and desire.
Our minds have two phases: objective (thinking) and subjective (feelings). Mood and emotions are interlinked with our mindsets.
Emotional self-awareness is the Emotional Intelligence capacity that gives us an insight into our emotional state and others (Bryant, 2021).
Living healthy is a result into whether we are adopting a growth or gratitude mindset. This complements an assessment that mindset forms beliefs (convictions) on behavior, lifestyles, priorities, choices, and goals. The way we see the world is reflected to us.
Palmer and Dweck (n.d.) find the link between emotional intelligence and a growth or fixed mindset is comprised of awareness of others, authenticity, emotional reasoning, self-management, and positive influence in the way others feel through problem solving or providing feedback. These factors determine our understanding and choices in how to live (experience).
Whether we choose to cultivate a Growth or Fixed Mindset. changes in emotional intelligence, changes in stress levels or relationships, all affect our beliefs, intrinsic motivation, and attitudes of gratitude toward growing fulfillment.
